ROD SYSTEMS and accessories

The GEOTOOL rod system

stands for a lightweight but strong probing rod made from hollow, thick-walled high-tension steel tube C 60 manufactured with precision tooling.

 This guarantees absolute parallelity of rods and thread nipples (studs) and accurate right-angle end faces.

 The rods feature marker grooves every 100 mm for easy protocolling of N10 values and spanner flats on both ends.

The studs are manufactured from high-quality material and carry Allan type hexagonal socket internal threds on both ends.

GEOTOOL supplies all relevant tools, driving heads, sacrificial or fixed points, adaptors, etc. for quick and safe work in conjunction with the rods.

 RAMBO ROD SYSTEM

The GEOTOOL-Rambo-system with tapered thread connections offers the following advantages over the usual rod types:

 1. quick connection and undoing of the rods
(only ca. 2 revolutions ! )

 2. much more robust = longer service life through stronger „studs“

 3. coarse tapered thread not sensitive to dirt or soil particles

 A wide range of accessories is available at GEOTOOL’s like all relevant tools, driving heads, sacrificial or fixed points, adaptors, window sampling tubes etc. for quick and safe work in conjunction with the rods.
